Note: Watercolor has been added to protect the privacy of the children in the video SCHOOL VISITS INCLUDE: In addition to this interactive reading, the students will understand the following elements: SAFETY: The importance of making safe decisions. The fact that some one we know or THINK we know may be a stranger Why we should tell our parents if someone's hurting us.(older grades) Why our parents should always know our location. WRITING: The first thing an author needs to use in order to write a book. How the illustrator decides which pictures to draw How a book is made--from the words to the final product. All books purchased by parents/school will be autographed! |
$100 for a one hour presentation NOTE: The presentation given to upper elementary is more advanced in content than for preK-1 and this option does not include all grade levels at one time. $200 for up to 2 1/2 hrs Up to three 45 minute presentations (or 2 one hour presentations, and a signing after) $300 for one school day 40 minute to 1 hr presentations, according to the schedule the school decides. OUT OF STATE FEES If you have received notice that Diane King will be in your area, the out-of-state fees are as follows: $500 per school for 1 day which INCLUDES travel expenses. You can buddy up with a school in your area and split the appearance fee and have a 1/2 day presentation (up to 3 readings). |
